Kirtland Gallery opened as an AAFES concession in 2004. The gallery is located in the main BX mall of Kirtland Air Force Base (map) and, to our knowledge, is the only gallery in New Mexico to exclusively sponsor the artwork of veterans and active-duty artists. At the present time you can see the diverse artwork of over 40 different veterans on display in the gallery.  Most of the artists on display are members of NMVA and a portion of the annual proceeds from the gallery are donated to help fund the efforts of NMVA. 

Kirtland Gallery is also the location for LookingBullStudio#1, where Roy Breckenridge does his work for Breckenridge Inks.
